"Goshu engizara" in Japanese means five fortune plates. The design is inspired by earthenware molds for “Rakugan” Japanese traditional confectionery (dry confection of starch and sugar mixed and pressed into a pattern). The five motifs have been regarded as auspicious in Japan since old times.
This version is a collection of colorful, adorable, palm-size plates made of earthenware and by the color glazing scheme which is best suited to each motif. “Ume” (Japanese apricot) in pink is one of them. Available in two sizes: small & mini. The applications: you could serve pickles and condiments, etc.
