Ballard Wine Walk

Explore the charming Ballard neighborhood and experience delicious Pacific Northwest wines at the Visit Ballard Wine Walk on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Visit Ballard has paired 15 boutique shops with 15 PNW wineries so you can taste a variety of wines in unique settings throughout the historic Ballard neighborhood. We’re excited to share that we’ve been paired with Tirriddis, a Washington State traditional-method sparkling wine winery based in Prosser, WA. Founded in 2021 by Andrew Gerow, Gabriel Crowell, and Matthew Doutney—three graduates of Washington State University’s Viticulture & Enology program—Tirriddis is pioneering and curating Washington’s sparkling identity.

Ballard Wine Walk commemorative glasses are available for $10* or you may bring your own tasting glass to the event.

Event participants will have an opportunity to purchase bottles at a special discounted rate at the respective tasting venues from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on the evening of the event. All varieties of wines served during the event will be available for purchase by the bottle.

  • Guest check-in, ID check and registration starts at 4:00 p.m at Umpqua Bank
  • Tasting begins at 5:00 p.m.
  • Tasting ends at 8:00 p.m.

The 15 participating boutique shops are open to the general public of all ages during the wine walk and those under 21 may attend the tasting areas. However, participants must be 21 to purchase wine tasting glasses and wristbands. Tasting areas, inside the Ballard shops, are unrestricted but wine is not permitted outside of designated areas. The tasting is available only to those with valid event bracelets and tickets. 

There are a limited number of tickets available. Tickets must be purchased online prior to October 17, 2025 @ 5 p.m., or before we sell out. Please order your tickets today, as all of our Wine Walks have sold out well in advance of the event date!

Proceeds from the Ballard Wine Walk support the projects and programs administered by the Ballard Alliance, a non-profit neighborhood organization.
