No. 145 Lacey Bandana

Lacey is doodling mermaids in her journal and tearing through pulpy paperbacks on the pier. She’s the fairest judge of handstand competitions, and everyone goes to her when they need to start their lanyard craft but can’t get past the knot-of-string phase. Her hoodie smells like sunscreen and lakewater, and her laugh comes easier than her words. But when she speaks, it’s the kind of thing you write down.
