Hammer Grinder

Designed by Christoffer Harlang, Hammer reflects a feeling and a sense of quality. The design is inspired by the Danish island of Bornholm and the nature around the old fortress of Hammershus. Twist the top to grind up pepper corns or salt flakes, and lift it up to refill the grinder.

Oak
Cleaning
The wood comes with no finish. If you choose not to treat it with soap or oil, use a suitable cleaning agent for wood.

Maintenance
As the wood is untreated it may be affected by grease and colorants. For this reason, we recommend saturating the wood with soap or a suitable furniture oil to make it more resistant. If you wish to use soap or oil, use a suitable product. Be aware that the wood will change color when applying soap or oil.

Oiled Teak
Cleaning
Clean with soapy water and a soft brush right after use. Be aware that the product is not dishwasher safe.

Oil treatment
The teak has been treated with food safe oil to improve its resistance. We recommend that you treat the wood occasionally with a safe and flavorless oil – e.g. worktop oil – to preserve the glow and resistance. If the product is not oiled the surface may change color over time and become silvery grey.
