The Skagerak Fionia stool is a modern, Nordic interpretation of the ancient X-chair. The Fionia Stool was Skagerak’s first ever stool, designed back in 1986 and has become an iconic item serving multiple purposes in all rooms of the house. The lightweight, folding stool features a simple, triangular construction with a stable surface that works beautifully as a bedside table or as a stand for objects or plants.
Jens Quistgaard (1919–2008) was a Danish designer whose works became synonymous with Scandinavian Modern. He apprenticed under Georg Jensen and developed from being a draughtsman and relief-maker to a sculptural designer. His designs were exhibited at trade fairs and homes around the world.
