Niels Hvass (born 1958) is a Danish designer who, after graduating in furniture design from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1987, has contributed to Danish design as a designer, teacher and board member. In 2008, Hvass founded the design studio Strand + Hvass in Copenhagen together with Christina Strand. Hvass's work has been exhibited in museums worldwide and he is the recipient of several awards, including the Red Dot Award and the Georg Jensen Award.
