Washi Tape designed by artist Rieko Oka, who was born in Hokkaido in 1981. In 2003, she graduated from the Faculty of Art and Engineering at Hokkaido Tokai University. She studied William Morris's "Willow Branches" and subsequently created her own original wallpaper patterns for life in the northern regions. In 2008, she started her "Ten to Sen Pattern Studio." Based in Sapporo, Hokkaido, she presents textiles based on scenes from her own life at solo exhibitions and craft fairs in various locations.
