Nancy Seki made her debut as the world's first eraser print artist in 1985, right as Japan was entering the bubble economy.
She carved more than 5,000 stamps in her lifetime. What was remarkable about Nancy Seki was her ability to perfectly capture the essence of things that had been simmering in the hearts of many people, things that no one could put into words, with just one small eraser stamp.
