Atsuko Yukawa was born in Miyazaki Prefecture in 1967. After working as a magazine editor, she became an illustrator. Since around 2000, her subjects have shifted to animals and plants, especially birds. She also plays accordion in the band “Tenugui” under the name Atsuko Ichiyanagi.
