What's inside? Key ingredients include:
-
Organic gettou (Alpinia zerumbet) extract: A relative of ginger revered for its beautiful flowers and exceptional antioxidant content, gettou has been used in Okinawa for centuries in both cuisine and traditional medicine. The gettou extracts in this soap are from organically cultivated plants grown on Hamahiga Island.
-
Okinawan clay (kucha): An incredibly fine mineral clay used for generations to treat skin and hair, it gently exfoliates to clear out pores while stripping away dirt and debris
-
Okinawan seawater (nigari): Said to be easily absorbed by the body due to a similar fluid and mineral balance
-
Argan (Argania spinosa) oil: A hydrating tree oil high in vitamin E that protects against sun damage and signs of aging
To Use: Pre-rinse your makeup-free face with warm water to open pores. Create a rich lather by rubbing the soap between your palms, then gently massage your face with the soap, using a washcloth if you prefer deeper exfoliation. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
